HOUSING ASSISTANCE
InterServ manages the community wide Coordinated Entry System (CES) used by many agencies for housing referrals. We produce and maintain the By Name List for housing programs, organize the monthly CES meetings, train and support other agencies who use the CES, and complete direct vulnerability index intakes with homeless and displaced persons seeking housing.
SENIOR COUNSELING
The program offers services for senior and disabled households living on a fixed income or facing a financial crisis. These services assist the household in tasks of budgeting and financial management, health related referrals, and housing stability referrals. Many times our social worker is able to assist the household toward financial stability in several sessions.
